Tonights Conjunction of Venus and the Moon

Tonights the night, or rather the evening.  The crescent moon will be in conjunction with the planet Venus in the western sky just after sunset.

Both binoculars and small telescopes can be used to zoom in on the pair, but if you use a telescope be sure you use the lowest magnification eyepiece you have (the one with the largest focal length measurement ....25mm or 20mm)  This will give you the widest field of view which is necessary to see both together.
