Yesterday I reported on an outburst of bright fireballs over the southern US. These fireballs are believed to be an outburst of Epsilon Perseids meteors.
Today European skywatchers are reporting a similar outburst at a rate of almost 50 per hour. NASA's All-sky Fireball Network will continue to monitor the skies for a repeat of last nights performance (although probably at a much reduced rate than in Europe).
The following story appeared on Space Weather: Meteor Outburst over Europe?
